Samuel Oladele, president of the Christ Apostolic Church, urged Nigerians to pray for the country’s unity, peace, and effective leadership during the dedication of a new church in Osogbo.

The president of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Nigeria and Overseas, Samuel Oladele, has called on Christians to pray for Nigeria’s unity and stability amidst current challenges, emphasizing that divine intervention is key to national peace.

At the dedication and handing-over of Christ Apostolic Church, Mountain of Restoration, in Osogbo, he stated, “We are to go on our knees on any unwanted situation and not just by criticising people and destroying people’s image constructively,” adding, “As humans, you do not expect perfection from us, and with our knees, we can pray to God for the sustenance of peace in Nigeria.”

Oladele also commended the church building donor, Olasiji Olamiju, for his generosity, describing the project as “commendable and marvellous in the sight of God,” and urged congregants to emulate his example by engaging in good works and dedicated service, saying, “I want to urge you to be dedicated and healthy members of the church and always ready to serve with sincere hearts.” The event was attended by dignitaries including former Osun governor Bisi Akande and other political and religious leaders.
