China retaliates with 84% tariffs on US goods as Trump trade war escalates

China has imposed an extra 84% tariffs on the US – after Donald Trump has put a 104% tariff on some Chinese imports to the US

China’s finance ministry has announced an additional 84% tariff on all goods imported from the US.

The ministry says that these new charges will take effect from 12:01 CST (05:00 BST) on 10 April.
