Concerns rise over Trump’s fitness after makeup-caked hand appearance

President Donald Trump’s heavily made-up right hand has reignited scrutiny over his health, with the White House attributing the bruising to frequent handshakes while critics question his fitness.

President Donald Trump was spotted Friday with a conspicuous layer of makeup covering his right hand, fueling renewed speculation about his health and cognitive abilities.

The 79-year-old president has reportedly used cosmetics to conceal bruises, but the coverage appeared especially heavy during his visit to The People’s House museum in Washington, D.C.

The White House dismissed concerns, attributing the bruising to the president’s relentless schedule of public handshakes.

“President Trump is a man of the people and meets more Americans, shaking hands daily, than any other president in history,” Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.

Last month, officials disclosed Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition common in older adults, but his physician has yet to be made available for questions.

Critics argue that a lack of transparency, coupled with visible physical changes and recent memory lapses, underscores growing doubts over his overall fitness for office.
