Lauretta Onochie, former Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), has disclosed the purpose of her private meeting with Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The meeting took place on Thursday, July 24, 2025, and was made public by Onochie on her verified Facebook page the following day.
In her statement, Onochie revealed that the closed-door discussion aimed at addressing national development and finding ways to guide Nigeria back to progress.
“Yesterday, Big Brother and Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ogbeni RAUF AREGBESOLA, and yours truly had a meeting. It was centered around recovering our nation from her captives,” she wrote.
