Aliko Dangote hailed Mr Eazi as a successful entrepreneur at his wedding to Temi Otedola, highlighting his vast business portfolio across Africa.
Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, has lauded singer Oluwatosin “Mr Eazi” Ajibade for his entrepreneurial achievements, describing him as more than a musician, during his wedding to Temi Otedola in Iceland.
The union between Mr Eazi and Temi, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, had sparked reactions among Nigeria’s high society, with some questioning why Otedola would allow his daughter to marry a musician. Dangote, however, dismissed such concerns.
“I don’t know of any musician who is an entrepreneur, very calm and loyal like you. We thank God for you… Tosin, you are a part-time singer, you are an entrepreneur,” Dangote said. He further revealed Mr Eazi runs businesses in 18 African countries, adding, “I’m sure in the next few years we will take a back seat and call you the richest people on earth.”
In a symbolic gesture, Otedola gifted the couple his new book, Making It Big, offering both advice and inspiration for their future.
Mr Eazi’s ventures include emPawa Africa, Zagadat Capital, Choplife Gaming, and several real estate and fintech investments, underscoring his reputation as a multifaceted entrepreneur.
