The Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has reduced the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) by N30 per litre. The price drop, from N850 to N820, takes effect from August 12, 2025.
In a Tuesday statement signed by Anthony Chiejina, Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer for Dangote Industries Limited, the company assured Nigerians of an uninterrupted fuel supply. “As part of our unwavering commitment to national development, Dangote Petroleum Refinery assures the public of a consistent and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products,” it stated.
The 650,000 barrels-per-day facility also announced the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution nationwide, starting August 15, 2025.
Dangote Industries described the initiative as part of its drive for operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions. The move is expected to ease transportation costs, support environmental goals, and strengthen nationwide fuel distribution.
