Dangote unveils N5bn development plan to enhance the infrastructure at the Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTech) in Kano.

Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, has launched a N5 billion, five-year development plan for the Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTech) in Wudil, Kano State.

Announced during the 2nd investiture of the Chancellor and 5th convocation ceremony, the plan focuses on building state-of-the-art infrastructure, including hostels, a world-class engineering lab, and a solar power plant for the university.

Dangote also pledged to employ top-performing engineering graduates at Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Cement Plants.

Dangote commended Governor Abba Yusuf’s educational reforms, including a state of emergency in the education sector. Yusuf, in turn, approved road and drainage construction at the university.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Musa Yakasai, acknowledged the university’s progress and ongoing infrastructure challenges. Honorary degrees were conferred on prominent figures, including Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso and Alhaji Dahiru Mangal.
