May God almighty deliver Kemi Badenoch from whatever might have traumatized her so much while growing up in Nigeria
Media personality and publisher Dele Momodu has publicly prayed for British Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch, hoping she finds healing from her childhood experiences in Nigeria. On social media, Momodu stated:
“May God almighty deliver Kemi Badenoch from whatever might have traumatized her so much while growing up in Nigeria.”
His remarks follow Badenoch’s recent recounting of her time at the Federal Government Girls College in Sagamu, Ogun State. She described boarding school as “like being in prison,” recalling duties including grass-cutting with a machete and cleaning toilets without running water. She noted dorms housed 20 to 30 students with no family contact.
Momodu added:
“I truly and genuinely love MADAM KEMI, but I often shudder, feverishly, at her unfortunate denigration of Nigeria at every opportunity.”
Kemi Badenoch has also recently stated that she no longer identifies as Nigerian, despite her upbringing in Lagos and her ancestry. She confirmed she has not renewed her Nigerian passport in over two decades and considers her identity to be rooted in the UK.
