Former West Ham midfielder Dimitri Payet has reportedly been charged with psychological violence against his ex-mistress, Brazilian lawyer Larissa Natalya Ferrari.

According to Globo Esporte, the 38-year-old’s case was initially dismissed by Rio de Janeiro prosecutors but was later reopened and led to an indictment.

Ferrari alleged she endured disturbing abuse during their seven-month affair, including being forced to drink her urine and perform degrading acts. “Dimitri knew about my psychological problems,” she told G1. “He demanded proof of love, which consisted of humiliation. I recorded videos in which I drank my urine, drank from the toilet, and licked the floor.”

Payet acknowledged the relationship but claimed every act was consensual. He also stated Ferrari’s fair skin showed marks easily and said she requested slaps during sex. His lawyer, Sheila Lustoza, argued that leaked documents would prove Ferrari acted voluntarily.

Payet, widely regarded as one of West Ham’s most gifted players, recently had his contract with Brazil’s Vasco da Gama terminated.
