Doctors were left baffled after they discovered six massive stones inside a patient’s bladder – which people have compared to the UK landmark Stonehenge.

Turkish doctors discovered six massive bladder stones resembling Stonehenge in a 40-year-old patient, weighing a combined 4.6lbs—despite the man reporting no pain.

The patient, with a history of spina bifida and childhood bladder surgery, sought care for catheter issues at Mersin Tarsus State Hospital. Scans revealed five pyramid-shaped stones and one cube-like formation, documented in Cureus journal.

Medics expressed astonishment at the stones’ size and geometric arrangement, emphasizing their rarity in asymptomatic cases. The findings highlight unusual complications in patients with congenital urinary tract abnormalities.
