Nigerian music producer Don Jazzy has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to demand accountability from security chiefs, insisting that terrorism must not be normalised and calling recent attacks unacceptable.

Nigerian music producer Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to hold security chiefs accountable following recent terrorist attacks. Reacting on his X handle, he criticised the rising insecurity and stressed that Nigeria “wasn’t always like this,” warning against normalising recurrent violence.

Don Jazzy said, “The perpetrators deserve no mercy. There is an urgent need for our armed forces to eliminate every single one of these terrorists. It wasn’t always like this. Terrorism cannot be a part of our normal lives.

Where are they appearing from and disappearing to? Where is the intelligence? Mr President, please demand more accountability from your security chiefs. This needs to end now sir,” urging security agencies to “wake up” and perform their duties effectively.
