Nigerian music icons Don Jazzy and Shallipopi thrilled fans on Thursday with surprise cash giveaways on X.com, transferring millions of naira to lucky followers.
Don Jazzy, real name Michael Ajereh, gifted Adeyemi Adejoke Abidemi ₦6 million after she responded to a trending post urging users to tag a celebrity to receive ₦1 million. She wrote, “Make I tag #DONJAZZY. I dey always dream about him.”
Moved by her ₦67.29 balance, Don Jazzy replied, “That your akant balance is not healthy. I don add another 5 million. More blessings ma.”
Adeyemi confirmed receipt, stating, “May your hands never lack. Thank you #DONJAZZY.”
Meanwhile, Crown Uzama, aka Shallipopi, gifted ₦1 million each to two fans during his album promotion. One recipient, Samuel Ifesinachi, had lamented being “broke as hell.”
Shallipopi responded, “Imma send u a million if you promise to get yourself a very big JBL,” later confirming the transfer.
