EFCC declares Atiku’s son-in-law, Bashir Haske, wanted

The EFCC has declared Atiku Abubakar’s son-in-law, Bashir Haske, wanted over alleged money laundering and urged the public to provide information on his whereabouts.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Abdullahi Bashir Haske, a businessman and son-in-law of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, wanted over allegations of criminal conspiracy and money laundering.

In a statement issued on Thursday by EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, the commission appealed to the public for assistance in tracking down Haske. “The public is hereby notified that Abdullahi Bashir Haske, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the EFCC in an alleged case of criminal conspiracy and money laundering,” the notice read.

The anti-graft agency disclosed that the 38-year-old suspect was last known to reside at No. 6 Mosley Road, Ikoyi, and 952/953 Idejo Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

Nigerians with useful information are urged to contact EFCC offices across the country, including Abuja, Lagos, Kano, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and 10 other state commands. Reports can also be made through the commission’s dedicated phone lines and email address.
