Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration is using glossy campaign billboards to mask widespread poverty, bad roads, collapsing infrastructure, and an absence of tangible development—even in the governor’s own hometown of Ikogosi.
The day before yesterday and throughout my visit to Ekiti State, I saw no real development, nothing that could justify the flood of glossy billboards scattered across the state, each one urging people to vote again for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO).

How do we keep celebrating failure in broad daylight? How do we let propaganda paper over poverty, bad roads, collapsing infrastructure, and the absence of visionary leadership? Not even in his hometown, Ikogosi, could you see anything tangible, I say so because sometimes these do-nothing governors sometimes try to decorate their hometowns.
