Emirates Group has released its 2024-25 Annual Report, with Emirates reporting the best result in its history to become the world’s most profitable airline.
Emirates Group has reported a record-breaking $6.2 billion profit before tax for the financial year ending March 31, 2025, becoming the world’s most profitable airline. This marks an 18% increase from the previous year, with revenue reaching $39.6 billion. Emirates airline alone recorded a $5.8 billion profit before tax and $34.9 billion in revenue.
The Group declared a $1.6 billion dividend to its owner, the Investment Corporation of Dubai. After accounting for the newly implemented 9% UAE corporate tax, profit after tax stands at $5.6 billion.
Chairman and CEO Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said: “We’ve kept a laser focus on providing great products and services… We don’t cut corners, and we don’t take shortcuts that put our future at risk.”
Looking ahead, he added: “We enter the year ahead with excitement and optimism… We simply adapt and navigate around these challenges.”
