Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal leads Europe’s top five leagues in successful dribbles, with Nico Williams and Yann Gboho close behind in a list blending global icons and emerging stars.

Barcelona’s 18-year-old sensation Lamine Yamal has been ranked the most prolific dribbler across Europe’s top five leagues, underlining his growing status as one of football’s brightest prospects.

According to Planet Football, Yamal tops the early 2025–26 season chart with 18 successful dribbles from 36 attempts, a 50% success rate. “The rate at which he completes dribbles is genuinely elite already,” the report noted.

Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams follows with 15 successful dribbles. Fresh from signing a new contract and rejecting Barcelona, the 23-year-old has started the season strongly, scoring and assisting in a 3-2 win over Sevilla. Toulouse winger Yann Gboho ranks third with 13, after impressing in a 6-3 defeat to PSG.

Brighton’s Gambian attacker Yankuba Minteh is fourth with 11, while Real Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe rounds out the top five on 10. Mohammed Kudus of West Ham has nine, with Udinese’s Arthur Atta, Strasbourg’s Felix Lemarechal, Chelsea’s teenage Brazilian Estevao, and Girona’s Joel Roca completing the top 10.

The list highlights a mix of established names and emerging talents from clubs including Barcelona, Chelsea, and Brighton. Players were ranked by total successful dribbles, with ties broken by success rate, reinforcing that taking on defenders remains one of the sport’s most thrilling spectacles.
