Fetterman condemns LA unrest, says Democrats lose ‘moral high ground’ by ignoring violence

Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy praised Sen. John Fetterman for condemning violent protests in Los Angeles, saying, “It’s hard to preach hard truths to your own side. I respect this.”

Deputy White House official Taylor Budowich warned Democrats are alienating moderates, claiming, “They defend chaos, reject biology.” President Trump justified his National Guard deployment, writing, “If we had not done so, Los Angeles would have been completely obliterated.”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed U.S. Marines were en route “to restore order.” Sen. Bernie Sanders also urged discipline, noting, “Violent protests are counterproductive and play right into Trump’s playbook.”
