Mrs Esther Onyekesi has denied allegations linking Governor Soludo to the killing of her son, businessman Martins Onyekesi.

Mrs Esther Chinyere Onyekesi, mother of slain Fish Magnate CEO, Martins Ifesinachi Onyekesi, has denied claims linking Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo to her son’s killing. Speaking during a condolence visit by the Geeks and Founders Alliance for Soludo, she described the incident as a targeted attack.

“They waited for him while he was coming home, and as he alighted from his car to open the gate, they attacked him,” she said. The businessman was kidnapped last month and killed despite reports of ransom payment.

Onyekesi dismissed activist Martins Otse’s allegations against Soludo, stating, “We all know Anambra is now better in terms of security than Soludo met it.” She alleged some politicians were attempting to politicise the tragedy, but vowed not to allow it.

The burial is scheduled for 28 August in Ikenga, Aguata LGA. GEFAS Coordinator Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata assured the family of continued support from the APGA community.
