Ghislaine Maxwell set to meet Trump-era official amid growing scrutiny over Epstein files

“No one is above the law—and no lead is off-limits,” says Trump’s DOJ official.

Ghislaine Maxwell is set to meet Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche “in the coming days,” in what could be a pivotal moment in the ongoing scrutiny of the Jeffrey Epstein case. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the meeting Tuesday amid public pressure over how Donald Trump’s Justice Department has handled the Epstein files.

“President Trump has told us to release all credible evidence,” Blanche said in a statement shared by Bondi on X. “If Ghislaine Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and DOJ will hear what she has to say.”

Maxwell, 63, is serving a 20-year sentence and recently failed in her Supreme Court appeal. Her legal team cited Epstein’s 2008 plea deal in her defense.

The Justice Department insists no Epstein “client list” exists, a claim met with skepticism—even among Trump loyalists. Blanche confirmed: “No one is above the law—and no lead is off-limits,” though he maintains that no new evidence has emerged.
