Adolphus Wabara, chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) board of trustees, says the party will return to power in 2027.
Speaking during the PDP national executive committee (NEC) meeting in Abuja, Wabara said, “The God of politics is in this party… PDP is the beacon of hope for this country.”
He insisted the party remains alive despite internal crises. “No matter what our detractors feel… this party will never die,” he said.
Bauchi governor Bala Mohammed added that the PDP’s issues have been resolved. “The gale of people leaving the party is all cosmetic,” he stated. He praised the national working committee (NWC) for uniting the party.
Mohammed said PDP governors are fully behind the NWC and BoT. “All our attackers have been defeated,” he said. He assured Nigerians of the party’s commitment: “We will not disappoint Nigerians and our teeming supporters.”
