Pep Guardiola appeared to confront Crystal Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson after Saturday’s FA Cup final, as the Eagles secured their first-ever major trophy with a 1–0 win over Manchester City. Henderson was at the centre of controversy for a first-half handball outside the box, which denied Erling Haaland a potential goalscoring chance. Despite a lengthy VAR review, the England international avoided a red card.

Henderson later saved a penalty from Omar Marmoush and was seen exchanging words with Guardiola post-match. “You got your 10 minutes like you wanted,” Guardiola reportedly told him. Henderson responded with a smile and said he dedicated the win to his late father: “I lost my dad at the start of the season, but he was there every kick of the ball with me today.”

Palace boss Oliver Glasner stepped in to embrace Henderson during the exchange, as Guardiola, visibly frustrated, was ushered away by Palace substitute goalkeeper Matt Turner. Guardiola later insisted he said “nothing.”
