“If the Biden people decide that Kamala Harris is coming after Joe Biden… you will hear stories about Kamala Harris as vice president that will not make her look good.”
WASHINGTON — Political analyst Mark Halperin claims President Joe Biden’s team is prepared to release damaging accounts about efforts to prepare Vice President Kamala Harris for higher office if her upcoming memoir is seen as a political threat.
Speaking on 2Way’s The Morning Meeting, Halperin said, “If the Biden people decide that Kamala Harris is coming after Joe Biden… you will hear stories about Kamala Harris as vice president that will not make her look good.”
Harris recently announced her new book, 107 Days, which chronicles her short-lived presidential campaign. This follows reports that Biden has signed a $10 million deal for his own memoir with Hachette.
Halperin compared the situation to former Sen. John McCain’s regrets over selecting Sarah Palin, saying Harris was “not quite ready for prime time.”
Halperin added that the Biden administration gave Harris “every opportunity” to succeed but concluded she “was not up to this.”
Fox News Digital reports both camps declined comment.
