Buhari Laid to Rest in Daura Amid National Mourning
The remains of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari were interred in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, on Tuesday.
A large number of dignitaries from across the country, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, gathered to pay their final respects.
Buhari died on Sunday in London after a long illness and was laid to rest following funeral prayers (Jana’iza) held in Daura.

The Presidency noted that only the US has formally communicated the reasons behind its new policy.
