“Perhaps the truth about these Democrats, and their associations with Jeffrey Epstein, will soon be revealed, because I HAVE JUST SIGNED THE BILL TO RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES!” – Donald Trump
US President Donald Trump has signed a bill compelling the Justice Department to release all documents from its Jeffrey Epstein investigation in a searchable format within 30 days. This action marks a reversal from Trump’s previous opposition and follows overwhelming bipartisan support in Congress.
While Trump claims the release will expose Democrats’ associations with Epstein, the text of the bill allows for portions to be withheld for privacy or ongoing investigations, a point of concern for one of the bill’s architects, Rep. Thomas Massie.
The move comes after the recent release of thousands of pages from Epstein’s estate, which included messages from Epstein claiming he could “take down” Trump.
“I’m concerned that [Trump is] opening a flurry of investigations, and I believe they may be trying to use those investigations as a predicate for not releasing the files. That’s my concern,” – Republican Congressman Thomas Massie
