Nigerian rapper Falz has doubled down on his controversial claim that fornication isn’t a sin, clarifying that he no longer identifies as Christian but follows a self-styled “religion of love.” The singer faced backlash from religious groups after his initial post on X, with many quoting scriptures to counter his view. In an interview with Arise TV, Falz argued that consensual premarital sex between unmarried adults harms no one.

“I practice the religion of love. Under that, fornication isn’t sin,” Falz stated. “Who does it offend? Two consenting unmarried adults? I see no problem.”
