A hacker group linked to Iran claims it stole 100GB of emails from Trump-era officials, including communications involving Stormy Daniels and RFK Jr.

A hacker group affiliated with Iran claims to have stolen 100 gigabytes of emails from former Trump administration officials, according to a Tuesday report by The Daily Beast.

The group, operating under the pseudonym “Robert,” told Reuters it accessed the emails of key Trump associates, including White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, attorney Lindsey Halligan, political strategist Roger Stone, and Stormy Daniels. The compromised data reportedly contains financial records and legal settlement discussions, including documents tied to Trump’s hush money payments to Daniels — the subject of his felony conviction in New York.

Reuters has authenticated parts of the stolen data, which may be offered to undisclosed buyers.

The FBI responded swiftly. “The FBI takes all threats against the president, his staff, and our cybersecurity with the utmost seriousness,” said Director Kash Patel. Cybersecurity spokesperson Marci McCarthy called the breach “digital propaganda.”

This incident follows previous reports of Iranian interference in the 2024 election and marks the latest in a series of cyber threats targeting U.S. political institutions.
