A Russian nuclear expert says U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites caused only superficial damage, with no radiation leaks reported and rapid repairs observed.

Russian nuclear expert Alexei Anfilogov stated Wednesday that recent U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities caused only minor damage, Fars Today reports.

He said, “Key evidence points to the limited effectiveness of the recent U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.” Anfilogov added, “Following the attacks, there were no reports of radiation leaks or toxic gases.”

He noted Iran still holds significant uranium reserves, including uranium enriched up to 60%. Satellite images show the blast crater at Natanz was filled within two days. His remarks challenge Israeli and U.S. claims that Iran’s nuclear program suffered severe disruption from the strikes.
