A senior Israeli intelligence official has warned that more strikes on Iran are imminent following the launch of “Operation Rising Lion.” Speaking to Fox News, the official said, “We have more surprises coming up,” after Israel launched precision airstrikes targeting Iranian military infrastructure.
Israeli intelligence estimates Iran could possess 8,000 ballistic missiles within two years. “We cannot end this operation knowing that we will be in the same spot two years from now,” the official said.
Forty Iranian air defense systems have reportedly been hit, while 30 IRGC air force commanders were believed killed in a targeted strike. “It’s a historic achievement,” the official said.
Despite anticipating further missile attacks from Iran, Israeli authorities suggest the conflict “could be over in days.” The official added, “The way the U.S. is standing beside Israel is unprecedented. We feel it.”
The strikes reportedly focused on Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, aimed at removing Tehran as an existential threat to Israel.
