JAMB has reopened its portal for the upload of 2025 WAEC results, a mandatory requirement for UTME candidates seeking admission.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reactivated the upload of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results for all Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates nationwide.
The board disclosed this in a post on its official X account on Tuesday, August 20, advising candidates to visit only accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres to complete the process. “Dear UTME candidates, this is to notify you that the upload of the 2025 WAEC result has been reactivated. Kindly visit any of our accredited facilities near you to access the service. Thank you,” JAMB stated.
The upload of O’level results is a compulsory requirement for admission into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education. Candidates who fail to update their WAEC or NECO results risk being excluded from admission lists despite high UTME scores.
JAMB had earlier suspended the upload portal on August 14 following technical issues after WAEC revised its initial result release.
