Jon Stewart ridiculed Donald Trump on The Daily Show for suggesting children don’t need 30 dolls or 250 pencils, mocking what he called Trump’s “Depression-era view” of childhood. “Motherf***er! How dare you?!” Stewart exclaimed after Trump’s NBC interview, in which the former president said kids could have “three dolls or four dolls” instead.

Stewart quipped: “If a Democrat even hinted at toy rationing… there’d be Fox News specials on the sobbing children of socialist America.”

Commenting on Trump blaming Biden for economic woes, Stewart said, “Trump good, Biden bad. He’s a regular Shakespeare.” He also mocked Trump’s plan to reopen Alcatraz: “What the f*** is that?!”
