Inter Miami CF have signed Spanish defender Jordi Alba to a contract extension through the 2027 season, the club announced Thursday.
Alba, 36, joined Miami in July 2023 and has since recorded five goals and 19 assists in 46 MLS appearances (39 starts). He earned MLS All-Star and Best XI honors in 2024.
“I’m happy to renew my contract because I have the desire to continue competing, and because of how I feel at the club, with the affection I receive from fans at every match,” Alba said.
He added, “I’ve been very comfortable these past two years at the club… and, hopefully, win as many titles as possible.”
Alba helped Miami win the 2023 Leagues Cup and 2024 Supporters’ Shield.
