Thousands of youths under the aegis of pro-Tinubu/Alia support groups on Thursday thronged the major streets of Makurdi, capital city of Benue State, to drum support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia’s second term.
Thousands of youths under various pro-Tinubu and Alia support groups staged a rally in Makurdi, Benue State, on Thursday, marching through major streets to express support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia’s second-term bids. The demonstrators, chanting solidarity songs and waving banners, gathered in a show of political endorsement for the current administration at both federal and state levels.
The crowd eventually converged at the major roundabout leading to the Benue State Government House, where they awaited an address from Governor Alia. The rally, organised by the Tinubu/Alia Support Group and other affiliated youth movements, was marked by a festive atmosphere and coordinated displays of loyalty. As of press time, the governor had not yet addressed the gathering.
