Kamala Harris reignited attacks on Donald Trump’s administration during her book tour, calling officials “crazy” while promoting her new memoir, 107 Days.
Former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday delivered a fiery rebuke of Donald Trump’s administration during her ongoing book tour, declaring, “These mothaf*ckas are crazy!”
Speaking at the “Day of Unreasonable Conversation” summit at The Getty Center in Los Angeles, Harris urged storytellers and writers to channel the nation’s turbulent political emotions. “We are living history right now… there is so much about this moment that is trying to make people feel like they’ve lost their minds, when in fact, these mothaf*ckas are crazy!” she said, drawing loud cheers and applause from the audience. Harris laughed as the crowd roared.
The event was part of her nationwide promotion of 107 Days, her memoir recounting her failed 2024 presidential bid. Reflecting on election night, she wrote, “I couldn’t articulate anything else — I kept saying over and over again, ‘my God, my God.’ I had never felt that level of pain and grief except that when my mother died, and it was grieving for the country.”
Harris has used her book tour to repeatedly criticize Trump. In Houston, she declared he “does not have a mandate.” Her next stop is scheduled for Atlanta on Wednesday.
