Kebbi State has strongly rebutted Senator Garba Maidoki’s recent criticisms, calling his banditry claims and project-related accusations “baseless and politically motivated.”
The government insists it has put in place “robust, well-planned measures” to combat the insecurity plaguing the state.
While Maidoki has warned that residents’ lives remain under threat, Kebbi’s officials say the senator’s narrative misrepresents their security strategy and development efforts.
