American comedian and actor Kevin Hart will host the 2025 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards, set to take place on June 9 at the Peacock Theatre, Los Angeles.
Announcing the milestone 25th edition, BET described it as a celebration of “25 years of cultural artistry,” honoring key voices across music, film, television, and sports.
“As one of the most influential figures in entertainment, Hart’s presence highlights BET’s commitment to celebrating Black culture,” the statement read.
Speaking ahead of the event, Hart said, “I love a celebration! It’s a chance to reflect, cherish, and honor life’s unforgettable moments.”
The show will air live on BET, DStv Channel 129 and GOtv Channel 21, at 1:00 am WAT on June 10.
