Speaking in Lokoja on Thursday, Karimi said, “There are no two ways about it,” adding that the president’s achievements justify continued support
Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, who represents Kogi West Senatorial District, has stated that the people of Kogi State are fully committed to ensuring the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
Speaking in Lokoja on Thursday, Karimi said, “There are no two ways about it,” adding that the president’s achievements justify continued support.
He cited ongoing federal road interventions across the state and the 614km Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano gas pipeline—now 75% completed—as major milestones. He also highlighted renewed efforts under Tinubu to establish more federal universities and appoint Kogi indigenes into key national positions.
“Kogi State has suffered in the past from policy inconsistencies,” he said, noting the resumption of long-abandoned road projects. “The Tinubu administration has resumed work on these critical projects.”
Karimi concluded, “We have no Plan B… We will stand firmly with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR — the leader we know and trust. To the doubters: it’s time to smell the coffee.
