Mbappe, who left on a free transfer, missed out as Madrid were eliminated by Arsenal in the quarter-finals. PSG later beat Arsenal in the semi-finals before dominating Inter in the final.
Reacting on Instagram, Mbappe wrote: “The big day has finally arrived, Victory and with the manner of a whole club, Congratulations, PSG.”
Under Luis Enrique, PSG appear revitalized, with stars like Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia shining, sparking suggestions the team has improved without Mbappe.
