A public interest lawyer, Ayodele Ademiluyi, has dragged the Federal Government, NCAA, and others to court, accusing them of double standards in the handling of aviation incidents involving Kwam 1 and Ibom Air passenger Comfort Emmanson.
A public interest lawyer, Ayodele Ademiluyi, has filed a N500 billion suit at the Federal High Court, Lagos, against the Federal Government, NCAA, and 11 others over alleged violations of the rule of law in aviation incidents involving Fuji musician Kwam 1 and Ibom Air passenger Comfort Emmanson.
Ademiluyi, in case number FHC/L/CS/1632/25, accused the authorities of double standards, noting that Emmanson was jailed for allegedly assaulting a crew member, while Kwam 1 allegedly obstructed a ValueJet aircraft without consequence.
“Our aviation system needs a complete overhaul. We cannot allow impunity to reign or degenerate into a banana republic where someone can stop a plane with their bare hands and walk away without consequence,” he said.
He asked the court for an order compelling authorities to act against those involved, insisting, “This is not about celebrity status or political connections — it’s about the sanctity of the rule of law.”
