Court records from suit ID/4378LM/2023 show Oluwalogbon obtained possession legally, with a ruling against “unknown persons” and a valid C of O signed by Governor Sanwo-Olu.

Documents from the Lagos High Court and a Certificate of Occupancy identify Mrs. Deborah Oluwalogbon as the rightful owner of a property in Ikeja, Lagos, which Labour Party’s Peter Obi claimed belongs to his brother.

Obi decried the demolition as lawless, posting on X that his brother was barred from the site. “They didn’t blink an eye at rubbishing his memory,” he said.

However, court records from suit ID/4378LM/2023 show Oluwalogbon obtained possession legally, with a ruling against “unknown persons” and a valid C of O signed by Governor Sanwo-Olu.

Oluwalogbon’s lawyer accused Obi of politicising the case, saying, “He appears to have been hired to sensationalise a matter already decided in court.”

Meanwhile, Next Foods Limited, now claiming ownership, is seeking a joinder and has filed to set aside the judgment, arguing they were unaware of the suit.

The property dispute continues as both parties prepare for legal proceedings amid rising public scrutiny.
