The man shouted, “Stop the plane” and later screamed, “Find the bomb on the plane,” followed by “Death to America. Death to Trump” and “Allahu Akbar.”
A 41-year-old man was arrested on July 27 aboard an easyJet flight from London’s Luton Airport to Glasgow after claiming he had a bomb and making inflammatory remarks.
According to video footage obtained by the Daily Mail and the BBC, the man shouted, “Stop the plane” and later screamed, “Find the bomb on the plane,” followed by “Death to America. Death to Trump” and “Allahu Akbar.”
Passengers tackled and restrained him while flight crew announced an imminent landing. “Do you have a bomb?” one passenger asked, while others questioned if he had consumed alcohol or drugs.
Upon arrival, Police Scotland boarded the aircraft and arrested the man, who “remains in custody.” A spokesperson for easyJet confirmed the incident, stating, “The safety and well-being of our customers and crew is always easyJet’s highest priority.”
Authorities said the matter is being reviewed by counterterrorism officers, though no charges have been officially announced yet.
