Masses won’t differentiate between ADC and APC on election day – Reno Omokri

Rural voters could vote APC thinking it’s ADC

These people did not think this through. They will only end up campaigning for President Tinubu and the APC, because many, if not most, of the Nigerian electorate are not very sophisticated voters. I am not sure that many of our people will be able to tell the difference between ADC and APC. The acronyms are too similar when written down and almost indistinguishable when spoken. The party with the brand recognition by that name or any name sounding like it is APC. If you tell rural dwellers to vote for the ADC on Election Day, many of them will vote for the APC. The names are just too alike.

So, I am not so sure that it is the most intelligent thing to do to have moved your so-called coalition into a party with almost exactly the same acronym as the ruling party. Good luck to them in trying to explain to the masses which is which!
