Kylian Mbappe scored twice against Marseille to reach 57 Champions League goals, moving into joint 6th place with Thomas Muller on the competition’s all-time top scorers chart.

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has climbed into joint 6th place on the UEFA Champions League all-time top scorers chart after netting twice in Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Marseille at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 26-year-old Frenchman entered the match with 55 UCL goals and his brace lifted him to 57, equaling Bayern Munich legend Thomas Muller. The milestone further cements Mbappe’s reputation as one of Europe’s most prolific forwards.

Mbappe now trails only Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema, and Raul Gonzalez in the rankings.
