Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and undefeated boxing icon Floyd Mayweather have agreed to an exhibition fight scheduled for spring 2026, promoter CSI Sports announced Thursday. The much-anticipated bout will bring together two of boxing’s most recognizable names, though no official venue or date has been confirmed.
Tyson, 59, amassed a career record of 50-7 with 44 knockouts and remains regarded as one of the most feared heavyweights in history. His last outing was a defeat to YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in November 2024, where he struggled to make an impact before a crowd of 70,000 in Texas.
Mayweather, 48, retired from professional boxing in 2017 with an unblemished 50-0 record, winning titles across five weight classes. Since then, he has taken part in several high-profile exhibitions, including a victory over John Gotti III in Mexico in August 2024.
“When CSI came to me about stepping in the ring with Floyd Mayweather I thought, ‘No way this happens,’” Tyson said. “But Floyd said yes.”
