“Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda… has revolutionised the health sector that treatment of cancer can now be done here in Nigeria,” says Idris.

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, says President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda has made cancer treatment possible within Nigeria.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to Governor Peter Mbah in Enugu on Thursday, Idris said the president’s policies had revolutionised the health sector. “Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda… has revolutionised the health sector that treatment of cancer can now be done here in Nigeria,” he said, noting the establishment of six treatment centres across the country equipped with world-class machines and trained experts.

Idris added that those travelling abroad for cancer care now do so by choice, not necessity. He praised the synergy among security agencies under Tinubu, crediting the president with improving national security.

The minister also commended Governor Mbah’s developmental efforts in Enugu, describing the state as the “heart of the South-East.” He pledged continued government support to sustain progress in healthcare, security, and other sectors.
