However, as of the time of filing this report, details surrounding how and where the student was found remain unclear.
Fijabi Oyindamola Omotayo, the mother of a missing Babcock University student, Oladipupo Siwajuola, has announced that her son has been found.
Omotayo made the disclosure on Saturday via a Facebook post, writing, “My son has been found.”
The confirmation came a day after her emotional plea on social media, during which she tearfully appealed to the public and security agencies for help in locating her son, whom she dropped off at the university in Ilishan-Remo on Sunday, April 27.
“I dropped him off at the school by myself on Sunday evening, but for the past three days, I have not been able to sleep as I cannot find my son,” she had said.
The Director of Marketing and Communications at Babcock University, Dr. Joshua Suleiman, also confirmed the development to our correspondent on Sunday. In a terse WhatsApp response, he said, “Yes, we are aware.”
However, as of the time of filing this report, details surrounding how and where the student was found remain unclear.
