Musk had earlier suggested Trump’s name appears in the files, a claim tied to their recent fallout.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk has renewed his feud with President Donald Trump, calling for the release of the “unredacted Epstein files” just hours before the House was set to vote on Trump’s major spending bill.
On Thursday, Musk responded “yes” to conservative activist Scott Presler’s post demanding full disclosure of files related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“I have been super clear that we should not pass this bill,” Musk wrote on X. “We should hit the debt ceiling and live within our means… there is massive de facto taxation via inflation.”
Musk had earlier suggested Trump’s name appears in the files, a claim tied to their recent fallout. Trump has denied any wrongdoing, stating Epstein’s lawyer “had no information to hurt President Trump.”
The Tesla CEO had previously backtracked and deleted posts linking Trump to Epstein but reignited the clash over the megabill. Trump reportedly accused Musk of being upset over planned cuts to electric vehicle tax credits and has threatened to investigate Musk’s immigration status and subsidies.
