Elon Musk reignited his criticism of Trump’s tax-and-spend bill, warning it would “destroy millions of jobs” and damage future-facing industries.

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has renewed his criticism of former President Donald Trump’s flagship tax and spending bill, warning it would “destroy millions of jobs in America” and threaten emerging industries.

“The latest Senate draft bill will destroy millions of jobs in America and cause immense strategic harm to our country,” Musk wrote Saturday on X, as Republican senators rushed to debate the nearly 1,000-page legislation.

“It gives handouts to industries of the past while severely damaging industries of the future,” he added, calling the bill “political suicide for the Republican Party.”

Musk, who recently left the federal government’s Department of Government Efficiency, has been a vocal critic of the bill’s massive spending.

Previously, he described the legislation as “pork-filled” and a “disgusting abomination,” despite having donated over $270 million to Trump-aligned campaigns.

The White House has yet to comment on Musk’s renewed attacks. His remarks come as Republicans work to pass the bill before Trump’s self-imposed July 4 deadline.
