“They will have to sort it out and because Trump is the one who was elected, Elon is going to have to accept he is not going to be the general,” Errol said.
Elon Musk’s estranged father, Errol Musk, has urged his son to mend fences with President Donald Trump following a high-profile clash.
In an interview with The Times of London, Errol likened their feud to a fight between dominant male animals.
“They will have to sort it out and because Trump is the one who was elected, Elon is going to have to accept he is not going to be the general,” Errol said.
The conflict began after Musk criticized a GOP spending bill, leading to a heated exchange. Musk accused Trump of being “in the Epstein files” and expressed support for impeachment, favoring Vice President J.D. Vance as a replacement.
“If something doesn’t look right to him, he can’t help himself but say so on principle,” Errol said. “But I always said to him that he can do that without getting nasty.”
Despite tensions, Errol believes the situation will calm.
“Trump isn’t vengeful… I’ve told Elon he has said his part, but now he must allow things to calm down,” he added.
