Nentawe emerges APC national chairman amid party reshuffle

Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Yilwatda Nentawe, has been named the new national chairman of the All Progressives Congress during the party’s 14th NEC meeting in Abuja.

The National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development, Yilwatda Nentawe, as the party’s substantive national chairman.

The announcement was made by Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State during the 14th NEC meeting held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja. The motion was seconded by House of Representatives Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas. Nentawe, a former governorship candidate from Plateau State, was sworn in at 2:50 p.m. in the presence of party leaders and stakeholders.
