Nicolas Jackson’s camp insists the striker will push for Bayern move despite Chelsea’s reported U-turn.
Nicolas Jackson’s representatives have responded to reports Chelsea may cancel his proposed loan to Bayern Munich.
Plans reportedly changed after Liam Delap suffered a suspected hamstring injury during Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Fulham, with manager Enzo Maresca hinting the striker could be out for up to eight weeks.
Former Premier League forward Diomansy Kamara, part of Jackson’s agency, reposted an Instagram story suggesting the deal will proceed: “We’re not going back. The plane doesn’t go backwards.. Munich.”
Asked about the situation post-match, Maresca said: “I just finished the game, came here and have no idea. We’re going to sit now and we’ll see.”
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl told Sky Germany: “We’ll see what happens… we’ll take action after the match, but I can’t give details yet.”
